Aaron Rodgers Plans to “Call Aliens” While Sharing UFO Theories on Pat McAfee’s Show

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers is back at it again, not with touchdowns, but with extraterrestrial intrigue. With the Jets officially out of playoff contention at a dismal 3-10 record, the 41-year-old has seemingly redirected his energy into unraveling the mysteries of the cosmos.

During his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers shared his latest UFO conspiracy, sparked by recent drone activity in New Jersey. “Do you know what’s been going on in New Jersey lately? And I’m not talking about the football. There’s been some crazy things going on,” Rodgers teased.

He referred to mysterious drones and unidentified objects hovering above Bedminster, New Jersey, a location tied to both Jets owner Woody Johnson and Donald Trump’s golf course. McAfee even displayed a video of flashing lights in the sky, prompting Rodgers to ask, “What the hell is that?”

Though Rodgers jokingly floated the idea that it might just be Trump flying in for a round of golf, he couldn’t resist hinting at something more out of this world. “Maybe it’s some kids messing around… maybe not, though,” Rodgers added, leaning into the mystery.

The highlight of the conversation came when Rodgers announced his intention to host a “Friday night 5E experience,” leaving McAfee’s panel in stitches. “It’s where you have a big kind of meditation circle, call in the aliens, and use little green lasers to bring them in,” the quarterback explained with a straight face.

Not His First Close Encounter

Rodgers has a history with UFO tales. During last season’s Hard Knocks series, he recounted a 2005 sighting involving a massive, Independence Day-style spacecraft near a nuclear plant in New Jersey. Rodgers described the eerie event: “We just froze, like, ‘Did we just see what we think we saw?’” He later connected the sighting to his interest in UFOs and their links to nuclear energy.

Rodgers is no stranger to unconventional ideas, having previously credited the hallucinogen ayahuasca for fueling his back-to-back MVP seasons in 2020 and 2021. He also famously embarked on a “darkness retreat” earlier this year to reflect on his NFL career.

Now, with the Jets’ season grounded, Rodgers might just take his conspiracy theories to new heights—or at least the skies above Bedminster.
